Based on NADAC D experience of designing and producing custom components, NADAC L features a dedicated volume control chip jointly developed with a leading semiconductor partner, using a JFET-like custom CMOS ASIC architecture. This advanced analog attenuation system delivers:

The NADAC L exclusive chip continues Master Fidelity’s design philosophy first incarnated in the NADAC D proprietary DAC chip co-developed in-house. By designing at the silicon level, both NADAC L and NADAC D achieve performance by far beyond what standard components can offer. This integrated engineering approach is a key advantage that sets the NADAC system apart from any other high-end audio products.

The NADAC L is engineered around a true dual-mono architecture, with fully independent left and right audio channels — from the power supply stage through signal processing and output. Each channel operates in complete electrical isolation, dramatically reducing crosstalk and preserving absolute channel integrity. The result is exceptional stereo imaging, razor-sharp spatial precision, and an extraordinarily stable, three-dimensional soundstage that reveals micro-detail and depth with effortless realism.
At the heart of the design lies a super-linear power supply built around a custom-made, hand-selected toroidal transformer. Only the highest-performing core segments are chosen, ensuring optimal magnetic stability and ultra-low mechanical vibration. This is complemented by high-capacity, tonally neutral capacitor arrays that provide generous energy reserves, along with multi-stage linear regulation that lowers the noise floor while enhancing transient speed and dynamic responsiveness. Ultra-precision 2ppm resistors are employed throughout the signal path to maintain long-term stability and channel consistency, while premium hybrid coupling capacitors are selected specifically for their transparency, harmonic accuracy, and natural musical tonality.
The NADAC L further integrates fully differential XLR input and output stages to maximize noise rejection and signal purity, alongside true single-ended RCA circuitry designed for uncompromised analog integrity. Complete galvanic isolation between the analog audio domain and the digital control system prevents interference and ensures pristine signal preservation under all operating conditions. Precision front-panel peak level meters, calibrated to ±0.05 dB accuracy, provide real-time dynamic monitoring and system optimization capability.
