OVERVIEW
The Olympica III is a three-way floorstanding loudspeaker that combines a slender, elegant profile with the advanced acoustic engineering and Italian craftsmanship of the Olympica Collection. Designed to deliver powerful yet transparent sound, it brings together refined materials, carefully engineered drivers, and Sonus faber’s distinctive approach to Natural Sound.
At the heart of its acoustic design is a 165 mm Camelia midrange driver, originally developed for the flagship Suprema, paired with a 28 mm DAD™ Arrow Point extended-frequency silk tweeter and two 165 mm paper-cone woofers. The tweeter and midrange are housed in a dedicated sealed cork enclosure, while the overall system uses a vented three-way architecture.
Crafted with natural wood, solid aluminum, and leather, the Olympica III reflects Sonus faber’s signature balance of acoustic performance and Italian design. Available in Walnut and Wengè finishes, its lute-shaped cabinet and refined aluminum detailing give the loudspeaker a contemporary yet unmistakably Sonus faber character.

CAMELIA MIDRANGE
The 165 mm Camelia midrange driver, originally developed for Suprema, features a distinctive non-circular paper cone inspired by the natural geometry of the camellia flower. Its shape helps reduce unwanted resonances while presenting its full surface toward the listener, contributing to transparency, vocal realism, and natural midrange reproduction.
DAD™ ARROW POINT TWEETER
High frequencies are reproduced by a 28 mm DAD™ Arrow Point extended-frequency silk tweeter, working alongside the Camelia midrange driver as part of the Olympica III’s three-way configuration.
DUAL WOOFER CONFIGURATION
Two 165 mm paper-cone woofers provide dedicated low-frequency reproduction, delivering the bass foundation of the Olympica III G3.
LUTE-SHAPED CABINET
The Olympica III features Sonus faber’s distinctive lute-shaped cabinet, crafted from wood and complemented by aluminum elements. Its slender proportions combine acoustic engineering with the sculptural design language of the Olympica Collection.
REFINED ALUMINUM DETAILS
Matte grey sandblasted aluminum elements give the Olympica G3 a refined, contemporary aesthetic. Polished 45-degree chamfers introduce subtle contrast and highlight the precision of the cabinet detailing.
DEDICATED CORK ACOUSTIC CHAMBER
The tweeter and midrange are housed in a dedicated sealed acoustic chamber. Its internal volume incorporates a specially developed cork damping structure, shaped through computer simulations into an organic form. The cork structure helps improve resolution while preserving the natural character of the midrange.
