The Olympica V G3 is the flagship floorstanding loudspeaker of the Olympica Collection, representing the latest evolution of Sonus faber’s approach to Natural Sound. It brings together advanced acoustic solutions, carefully selected materials, and the craftsmanship that defines the brand’s Italian heritage.
At the heart of its design is the Camelia midrange driver, originally developed for the Suprema, paired with Sonus faber’s DAD™ Arrow Point tweeter. A dedicated sealed acoustic chamber incorporates an organically shaped cork structure, developed to enhance midrange performance and resolution while preserving a natural sonic character.
Beyond its acoustic engineering, the Olympica V G3 reflects Sonus faber’s tradition of combining sound and design. Hand-finished natural wood, leather, and aluminum are brought together with meticulous detailing, creating a loudspeaker that balances contemporary engineering with refined Italian craftsmanship. Available in Walnut and Wengè finishes, it stands as the most ambitious expression of the Olympica Collection.

CAMELIA MIDRANGE
At the heart of the Olympica V G3 is a 165 mm Camelia midrange driver, originally developed for the Suprema. Inspired by the natural geometry of the camellia flower, its non-circular paper cone is designed to reduce unwanted resonances while presenting its full surface toward the listener. This contributes to high resolution, transparency, and natural vocal reproduction.
DAD™ ARROW POINT TWEETER
High frequencies are reproduced by a 28 mm DAD™ Arrow Point extended-frequency silk tweeter, complementing the Camelia midrange driver as part of the Olympica V G3’s three-way configuration.
TRIPLE WOOFER CONFIGURATION
Three 165 mm paper-cone woofers provide the Olympica V G3 with powerful low-frequency reproduction. Combined with the dedicated midrange and high-frequency drivers, this configuration delivers a frequency response extending from 37 Hz to 40 kHz.
ASYMMETRICAL LUTE-SHAPED CABINET
The distinctive asymmetrical lute-shaped cabinet is designed to minimize internal resonances. Crafted from wood and complemented by aluminum elements, its construction combines acoustic functionality with the sculptural proportions associated with Sonus faber design.
FLEXIBLE CONNECTIVITY
Olympica V G3 features four binding-post connectors with separate Mid-High and Low frequency terminals, providing dedicated connections for the loudspeaker’s frequency sections.
DEDICATED CORK ACOUSTIC CHAMBER
The tweeter and midrange are housed in a dedicated sealed acoustic chamber. Its internal volume incorporates a specially developed cork damping structure, shaped through computer simulations into an organic form. The structure helps improve resolution while preserving the natural character of the midrange.
